Come and join a creative clothing repair workshop and learn how to give your favourite clothes a new lease of life!
In this relaxed, social 2-hour workshop, you’ll be introduced to simple visible-mending techniques including decorative patching, darning, sashiko-inspired stitching and embroidery. We’ll spend the first part learning the basics, before you get stuck in and create your own repair with plenty of one-to-one help along the way.
No sewing experience needed — honestly! Just bring along a clean item of clothing you’d like to repair, or use one of our practice pieces if you’d rather have a go first. All sewing and mending materials are provided.
Come on your own or bring a friend, grab a coffee, cake or a drink from the venue, and spend a couple of hours making, chatting and learning something you can take home and use again and again.
